This isn’t true and as a mom I knew something wasn’t right. He couldn’t talk well, would drool when drinking, couldn’t even stick his tongue out far enough to lick an ice cream cone. He also woke up literally 5-20x a night with dreams, night terrors or sleep disturbances and I just thought this was our life. He battled aggression due to his challenges with properly communicating. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Alyssa. My son and I both had a tongue tie and similar issues with chewing, grinding, and tongue placement, etc. . I was unaware that I wasn’t chewing my food effectively before swallowing. Her treatment plan helped us strengthen our tongues and work on tongue placement. I was amazed at the rapport that Alyssa developed with my son. My son looked forward to our sessions with Alyssa and laughed through them. Words cannot express how impactful Alyssa was to my daughter’s feeding journey. My gut told me something was wrong, even though my pediatrician didn’t recommend any action. We LOVE Ms Alyssa!! She is so incredibly warm, patient and positive. The environment is engaging and supportive and my kids always looked forward to working with her.
